Challenge
These playlists span across numerous genres and are constantly updated by Apple Music editors the experts and tastemakers within the music space. Commissioning and curating artworks across mediums as to reflect the concept of the playlist and appeal to fans of the music. The goal was to create a cover that reflects the expertise of the curation and the culture of said genre.
Solution
A tongue in cheek concept, a very Aussie take on ‘heaps indie’.
It plays to the anything goes attitude of the audience, that being a bit ‘bogan’ or a bit of a galah is back envogue.
Seen in album artwork and the lifestyles of bands like Skeggs and Dune Rats. but it’s very much apart of the wider scene that includes both fans and musicians.
